June 6, 2003   The dedication of the AHC took place; the speakers were Headmaster Greg Zeigler, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Jimmy Adams and Chairman of the AHC Committee Rex Neal.  Rex has been the one instrumental in making the AHC a reality.   Also, an unveiling of the Ritchie’s picture took place. Two of the Ritchie’s grandchildren were on hand for the unveiling.  John Carter and Nanette Carter Curran ’55.  Then the rain came and it rained, and rained and rained.  The barbecue was very good in spite of the rain. Later that night we had open house at Farmhouse 14.  And, yes, it rained, and rained, and rained.  But, we had a great turnout and everyone enjoyed the evening.  Especially Jane and Cleo  What a wonderful day it had been.  The last of our friends had just left; the rain was still with us.  Bev and I said good night and we were off to bed looking forward to what tomorrow would bring.
